Child Protection Officer (CPO) Training in QF Schools is a policy-driven training that offers school appointed CPO's an opportunity to learn about their role and responsibilities as it relates to all matters about safeguarding and protecting the best interest of children and youth in QF Schools.
CPOs will deepen their understanding of their role and responsibilities, review ways to recognize types of abuse and appropriately manage allegations. They will also practice reporting procedures and record keeping while maintaining confidentiality. CPO's will create a plan of action to cultivate a culture of safeguarding and child protection for students in their schools.
Note: This training is offered as an equivalent to the Designated Safeguard Lead Level 3 certification and is designed as an online experience. Attendees will receive a CPD certificate of attendance and six-hours of professional development.
