Raising Awareness of Self Harm in QF School is a two-part training that helps every staff member learn what they need to know about signs, forms and triggers of self harm.
Session One will cover the educators’ role and responsibility in responding appropriately to incidents of self-harm. Staff will establish a collective understanding of self harm, explore various forms and signs in addition to, use case studies to delve deeper in the QF Schools Child Protection Procedure and Policy Manual as well as the Code of Conduct. Participants will consider a whole school approach to responding to self- harm incidents and supporting students’ well-being. A between-session task will support schools in planning for safeguarding their students.
