Through mindfulness practice, we become aware of what is happening in our lives moment by moment. This awareness allows us to slow down, to notice habitual reactions and replace them with thoughtful responses. Changing the behaviour patterns of the mind reduces stress and anxiety, and builds resilience, it increases our capacity for self-compassion, and when we have real care for ourselves, we can then be there for others. In this session, we will explore using tools and strategies that will support the start of your mindfulness journey.
