In this workshop, educators will explore using the widespread platform Python to engage learners in the study of data sets and venture into the world of Artificial Intelligence using coding.
Workshop Learning Outcomes Include:
✔ Learn the syntax of Python by solving standard programming problems using variables, functions, conditionals and loops
✔ Understand what data science is and how important it is for students to understand the power of data
✔ Analyze a data set and use the findings to solve a predefined problem and gain useful insights
✔ Understand what machine learning is and how it works
✔ Work through the stages of solving a problem using a machine learning algorithm
