Inquiry into elements of Early Years
If we are to teach through play, we need to play as well!
Over the course of six months, Early Years teachers and coordinators from across QF schools attended a series of play-based literacy workshops in Arabic during which they engaged in play to deepen their understanding of how emergent reading and writing can develop and progress through play. Learning was meaningful, engaging and connected to their practices. Following every professional learning day, they applied their learning in their classes, documented it to share it with their colleagues and reflected upon it to develop it further and enrich their students’ literacy.
With a playful attitude and disposition, learning grows continuously.
