Looking for ways to support middle-schoolers who find reading in English challenging? This workshop is designed to equip middle school educators with knowledge and tools that supports students' in developing their foundational reading skills and empowers them to become proficient readers. Throughout this workshop, participants will explore and apply research-based practices, pedagogical approaches, and classroom interventions that promote reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and fluency. Participants will leave this workshop equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to support and develop students' reading skills across various genres, text types and content area questions.
