During the QF Schools August induction weeks, EDI will “Ignite Professional Learning'' by offering a variety of workshops for new hires, returning educators, and leaders. Week one of Induction will provide new hires to PUE an “Introduction to PUE Digital Tools and Platforms”. The suite of 101 workshops is designed to build knowledge and skills around the various platforms used within QF Schools including Google Suite, MSTeams, and Texthelp. Individuals new to the PYP and MYP will have the opportunity to register for “An Introduction to IB for New Hires.” Additionally, during week one, school leaders and coordinators will be collaborating and learning together around strategic leadership concepts and the IB Program Standards and Practices.
Week two of Induction, will “Ignite Professional Learning,” by engaging both new hires and returning educators around a variety of topics, determined by data received from schools, including blended learning assessment, wellbeing and mindfulness, language acquisition, gifted, inclusion, autism, and parental engagement.
